How do I check my DKIM record?

Short answer: You need your DKIM selector (a name like google or s1), then look up selector._domainkey.yourdomain.com — a checker like DomainGuard tries common selectors for you.

The full answer

DKIM keys are stored under a selector name chosen by your email service. You can find it in an email you sent: open "show original" and look for s= in the DKIM-Signature line.

A healthy record starts with v=DKIM1 and contains a public key (p=). Keys of 2048 bits are recommended; 1024 bits is the minimum.
