What is DNSSEC and do I need it?
Short answer: DNSSEC adds digital signatures to your domain's DNS records so visitors can't be sent to a fake copy of your site or mail server; it is worth turning on if your registrar offers it.

Without DNSSEC, attackers in the middle of a network can sometimes forge DNS answers. DNSSEC lets resolvers verify the answers are genuine.
Most registrars and DNS hosts offer it as a single switch. If you move DNS providers, turn it off first, then back on afterwards.
