Why does my website say "Not secure"?

Short answer: Browsers show "Not secure" when a page loads over plain http, or when its security certificate is missing, expired or for a different name.

The full answer

Most hosts offer a free certificate (often from Let's Encrypt) — turn it on in your hosting dashboard.

Then make sure every visit is redirected from http:// to https://, and that the certificate covers both yourdomain.com and www.yourdomain.com.
